Internal Fees are charged via journal voucher and are expected to recover the full costs of providing goods and services within the OSU community. Internal fees are reviewed annually for compliance with Federal OMB Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200 and Oregon State University policies.
Rates are for 4 hours in one day except where noted on fee. Rooms with asterisk will be charged on half of the rate for less than 4 hours.
Categories are defined as: I: UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY. a.Recognized student organizations & student fee funded programs. b.Alumni activities of OSU Alumni Assoc. c.Admin., staff, faculty activities directly connected to the univ. d.State Agencies with the OR Dept. of Ed. or Federal Agencies funded by grants to OSU. Category II: GUESTS. a.Admin., staff, faculty activities that are of a social nature; not connected with OSU. b.Corvallis Comm. Organizations. c.Corvallis Government Organizations. d.Regional and National Organizations & Agencies. e.Commercial Organizations. Price is dependent upon the category which fits the organization. All equipment is for use in the MU and MU East International Forum only, unless noted.The minimum amount that will be billed is $5. Charges are based on a 24-hour day or per event unless otherwise approved. Cancellations for equipment must be made at least twenty-four hours prior to the event. If cancellations are not made within this time period, an apportioned amount of the rental will be charged. Repair or replacement charges will be made if equipment is returned damaged or broken. The Global Community Kitchen provides opportunities to develop various transferable skills. The kitchen has a teaching station, production equipment, dry storage, built-in walk-in refrigerators, a double-door freezer, and a commercial dishwasher. Production equipment includes convection ovens, woks, steamer combination ovens, 8-burner gas range, deep-fat fryers, and steam-jacketed kettles. Event services include consultation with GCK staff, hot and cold holding equipment for food & beverages, full chinaware package, serving utensils, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, aprons, gloves, trash disposal, and compost bins & recycle bins. The GCK also has a box cube van for events needing transportation to the venue. The use of this space requires staffing oversight for each activity. This fee is inclusive of all items needed for production, serving & clean-up of events. Staffing is for the administration of the kitchen- not as labor to clean up after events. Food costs are not included.
Rates do not include cost of supervision, other staffing, special set up or clean up.
