Internal Fees

Internal Fees are charged via journal voucher and are expected to recover the full costs of providing goods and services within the OSU community. Internal fees are reviewed annually for compliance with Federal OMB Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200 and Oregon State University policies.

Further detail and pricing shown on website https://dce.oregonstate.edu/reservations. These fees allow individuals and groups to rent rooms in the Cultural Resource Centers. Student Fee funded organizations and departments receive a 100% discount. Multiple indexes could be used MSEAPC, MSECCC, MSEBCC, MSENAL, and MSEPRI. Customer is financially responsible for any damages or excess cleaning needs incurred during time of rental. If additional labor is required, it will be charged at a rate of $15 per hour. If additional materials are required, they will be charged at cost.

Kitchen Rental Rates

The Global Community Kitchen provides opportunities to develop various transferable skills. The kitchen has a teaching station, production equipment, dry storage, built-in walk-in refrigerators, a double-door freezer, and a commercial dishwasher. Production equipment includes convection ovens, woks, steamer combination ovens, 8-burner gas range, deep-fat fryers, and steam-jacketed kettles. Event services include consultation with GCK staff, hot and cold holding equipment for food & beverages, full chinaware package, serving utensils, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, aprons, gloves, trash disposal, and compost bins & recycle bins. The GCK also has a box cube van for events needing transportation to the venue. The use of this space requires staffing oversight for each activity. This fee is inclusive of all items needed for production, serving & clean-up of events. Staffing is for the administration of the kitchen- not as labor to clean up after events. Food costs are not included.

10837: Global Community Kitchen - Transportation Fee

Use of step van for transporting food, materials, and containers to and from kitchen. If additional labor is required, it will be charged at a rate of $15 per hour, per student staff. If additional materials are required, they will be charged at cost.

14829: Global Community Kitchen Event Staffing

This fee is for one hour of GCK staff time. The specific rates are; Student worker $16/hr, GCK Coordinator $53/hr and Assistant Director $70/hr. Student Fee Funded Departments and Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) will receive a 25% discount on labor.

15215: Global Community Kitchen use

Fee covers the hourly use of the Global Community Kitchen in the Memorial Union. Labor is required for kitchen operation and will be billed separately depending on who is assisting in the kitchen. The labor rates are $16/hr for a student worker, $53/hr for the Global Community Kitchen Coordinator or $70/hr for Assistant Director (see fee 14829). If additional materials are required, they will be charged at cost to the client. Student Fee Funded Departments and Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) will receive a 100% discount on kitchen rental and a 25% discount on labor.

Orange Media Network

Orange Media Network includes: The Daily Barometer, KBVR-FM, KBVR-TV, Beavers Digest Magazine, DAMchic Magazine, and Prism Literary Arts Journal. The Daily Barometer is an educational activity led by student staff. The Daily Barometer is the campus newspaper published Mondays during the school year, except University breaks, and monthly during the summer. The advertising rate card is posted at orangemedianetwork.com KBVR FM is an educational activity led by student staff. At 88.7 on the FM dial and streamed online at kbvr.com/listen, KBVR FM is the student-operated radio station broadcasting 24 hours a day. KBVR TV is an educational activity led by student staff. KBVR TV showcases student-generated content on Comcast Channel 26 and streams live at kbvr.com/watch. The student-operated TV station broadcasts student-created content 24 hours a day. Beavers Digest is an educational activity led by student staff. The quarterly magazine covers student life at OSU and maintains daily content online at: orangemedianetwork.com. DAMchic magazine is an educational activity led by student staff. The quarterly magazine covers fashion in the OSU community and maintains daily content at orangemedianetwork.com. Prism Literary Arts Journal is an educational activity led by student staff. The quarterly magazine accepts submissions from student artists each term and maintains daily content at orangemedianetwork.com.

10970: DJ/Music Services

KBVRFM DJ music services are available for groups covered by appropriate copyright licenses. Fee charged for 3 hour KBVR music services. Costs will vary based on the size and technical needs of the services. If additional labor is required, it will be charged at a rate of $16/hr. 14407: Orange Media Network Voice Recording Room Fee

"Rental fee for use of the Audio Production Room in the Student Experience Center. Minimum of 3 hours required. For projects where the client already has a script and all that is needed is to record a person reading the script, the cost would be $32/hr. If additional hours are required for that day, the cost would be $16/hr for each additional hour. For projects that require professional staff consultation and post editing work on the recording, the cost would be $97/hr. "

14845: Orange Media Network Photo Booth Rental Fee

Rental fee for the hourly use of a photo booth. Rental includes props, and printed photos. If booth is used off-campus, vehicle rental fee and mileage will be charged based on current Motor Pool charges. labor is required (minimum one student per hour of use) and will be charged at a rate of $16/hr. If additional supplies are required, they will be charged at cost.
