Fee Details:

16773: Microsatellite genotyping of mammalian feces or hair.

Genotyping of mammalian feces or hair, using microsatellite loci. Includes one panel of microsatellite loci (typically 4-9 markers), may also include sexing loci. Consensus genotypes will be generated from 2-3 replicates, depending on source material. Depending on project goals, duplicate samples (i.e., recaptures) may be identified. Fecal or samples cost $74 each. An additional fee may apply for species that are new to our lab, for primer purchase and optimization.
