Fee Details:

16615: Launch Fee

The Launch (orientation) fee supports the essential services and programming provided to students and their guests during orientation. This includes meals, program materials, parking access, facility use and staffing for student and family sessions. Additional fees apply for guests who choose to stay in the residence halls overnight, and students who choose to stay in the residence halls are billed separately for lodging and breakfast. The fee structure varies based on the services utilized, accommodation preferences and needs and the number of participants. Hawai‘i program costs follow the same pricing model, with adjustments based on location-specific expenses. This fee falls within a range, with the lowest being $55 and highest being $200. 16615: Launch Fee

The fees for attendance cover the meals included in the day (coffee service, lunch, dinner, and snacks at various points), parking permit (one per student), materials received by participants, and contribute to OSU space rentals, evening activities, and parent-specific programming including the Parent Portal software. Hawai’i expense differ slightly, but a similar approach is taken. The cost is based upon which services are used and who joins the student. Anyone staying in the residence halls are billed the direct cost of that expense as well as the cost of breakfast the next morning.
