1. Surveys for pest slugs and snails. Cost is $200 for one survey hour and includes preparing sampling kits, one survey hour, and sorting slug and snail specimens by taxonomic category. Extra survey hours (based upon the fee "Additional Labor"), travel, and per diem costs will be additional charges when applicable. 2. Identification of specimens will be performed by morphology and/or DNA. Cost is $200 per specimen. Extra staff time will be charged based upon fee "Additional Labor". Extra staff time may be required for identification of cryptic species (e.g. Arion hortensis agg., Arion subfuscus agg.) or other taxa that are difficult to identify.
