The State Fisheries Genetics Lab (SFGL) custom services and lab use fees are designed to meet individual researcher and visiting collaborator's needs in the area of molecular ecology. The services will include but not be limited to new research and development, consulting on analyses of data, creating new laboratory technologies or modifying existing technologies, and implementing experimental technologies from the literature. SFGL will provide up to one hour of free consultation to plan a custom service. A minimum of one hour will be charged thereafter and will be billed in half hour increments. These services are similar but not exact to a bench fee for visiting scholars and researchers who use the lab as collaborators on research projects. Estimates for labor and lab supplies will be provided to all collaborators.
