OSU Fees Online

Group Tour of $60/per group. Maximum of 6 individuals in a group. The HMSC Bank Wing Husbandry tour exposes the visitor to the diversity of daily tasks and responsibilities associated with caring for our animals in the Visitor Center and the Education Wing including: daily cleaning, feeding, tank maintenance, management of medical cases, management of our seawater infrastructure, and how staff is involved in new exhibit development. Visitors will also be exposed to some of the ongoing applied research activities that utilize our animal collection or that our staff carries out in collaboration with other organizations within OSU and beyond the university. Aquarium hobbyists will also learn about how many of the activities carried out by our professional husbandry staff can be utilized with their own animals to ensure their continued health and well-being. Tour participants will also learn about educational opportunities related to aquatic animal husbandry, especially our local Aquarium Science Program at Oregon Coast Community College.
