Internal Fees are charged via journal voucher and are expected to recover the full costs of providing goods and services within the OSU community. Internal fees are reviewed annually for compliance with Federal OMB Uniform Guidance 2 CFR 200 and Oregon State University policies.

9338: DNA Extraction/DNA Sequencing/Microsatellites View Fee Details

DNA Extraction-Sequencing involves DNA extraction from tissue prep work, amplification (500-1,000 base pairs) sequencing reaction and preparation for insertion and scoring in the Applied Biosystems 3730 DNA Analyzer. Microsatellite analysis (based on a 96 well tray) involves DNA extraction from tissue prep work, amplification of 10 microsatellite loci, and preparation for insertion and scoring in the Applied Biosystems 3730 DNA Analyzer. Fee cost is $63 per sample. There is also a $50 per run setup charge.

16200: Sea Legend boat rental View Fee Details

This fee is for the rental of a 22' Arimis Sea Legend boat with a 150 Mercury Etech. This vessel has room for up to 8 people and is equipped with radar, plotters, and 2 sounders. The vessel is trailer-able. The rental rate is $65 per day plus $75 per hour of engine operation. An operator and/or additional crew are available at the rates shown on fee 16103. Prior to renting the vessel for the first time, the operator will have to complete MOTC, or comparable training and boat-specific training at a cost of $150.
