16000: Pesticide Risk Assessment & Planning

Provide expertise/consulting services pertaining to pesticide related risk reduction in human health and environmental risks, beyond the scope of regular duties. Services may include: Evaluate client needs and policies; Evaluate individual pesticide products or ingredients, comparing to agency/organizational policies. For example, should a City government allow the use of a certain herbicide, when city policies require specific risk/alternative criteria. This may involve consulting on development/revision of municipal plans, tailored for reduced-risk pest management. Any travel, services, or supply expenses will be billed to the customers at cost. The fee range represents the hourly rate for the two associate professors doing this work. Estimated cost of service Charge will be discussed with client prior to service.
